We are happy to share the completion of Arlene Thorpe Townhomes in the Grays Ferry section of South Philadelphia. This affordable housing development will offer 27 permanently affordable units thanks to a public-private partnership led by the Women’s Community Revitalization Project.
The Philadelphia Housing Authority (PHA) partnered with the nonprofit Women’s Community Revitalization Project (WCRP) to jointly subsidize the units at the Arlene Thorpe Townhomes, with monthly rent ranging from $282 for a one-bedroom apartment to $890 for a three-bedroom unit.
Domus Construction developed the project in partnership with WCRP and the PHA and provided a ribbon-cutting ceremony in July, with residents and city officials participating.
